My contribution to the Birthday Mischief Managed edible collaboration in celebration of J K Rowling's 50th birthday.

Ravenclaw Goblet from the Room of Requirement
Lisa (Miss Ladypainter) couldn't resist having the Room of Requirement come up with a brand new item for the world J K Rowling created... the Ravenclaw Goblet is Harry Potter's birthday gift from the entire House. What's with the potion? Who snuck that in? Some mischief afoot? Lisa will never tell.
The Twists include birthstone red for the goblet with Harry's initials on it's base and the Ravenclaw crest on the table runner.
Goblet has 2 parts - a bowl of translucent isomalt sugar held by a molded black fondant base airbrushed with edible silver paint. Claw base was hand sculpted and a 3-part mold made.
Crown is fondant, royal icing and wafer paper with the same airbrushed edible silver paint. The gems are molded gelatin.
Table Runner is gelatin coated wafer paper with molded gelatin lace trim. Airbrushed with edible colors and hand painted.
Potion Bottle is molded isomalt sugar.
