The first image from our weekend shoot with ^wynnesome

We concentrated on traditional beauty for most of the day... but then I couldn't walk away without something a little more "dramatic".

I really like the more "museum" looking images from Wendy. Very deliberate depth of field makes for a nice painted plaster homage.

Now, is this image a Makeup shot or a Body Paint shot? I say, even though nothing on her face is a "proper" makeup color... the effect is beauty oriented. So.....

Hmmmm..... I feel another Poll coming on.

Highly dramatic and three-dimensional. A beautiful photo in fact to showcase well-articulated make-up :)

Great job on the make up, it almost has the appearance of worn stone.

I can't wait to see more of this but I am pretty damn sure that's body/face paint though it can be a thin line.

I'm not crazy... I'm eccentric.
definitely a makeup shot!

Je ne vous oublie pas, non, jamais, vous êtes au creux de moi, dans ma vie, dans tout ce que je fais.
Hi, I have commented today about how I love this idea in many ways at ^wynnesome who was kind enough to let me know about the fact you are the one who created this idea. Which gave me the chance to show my respect and likeness to your art too. I like the interesting mix of modern and old Egyptian history. And bringing these beatiful art forms we see in Luxor, Aswan and Egyptian museum to Life. I do this mix in many times because it has something to touch in my own core, and what am i and what i do, but to be honest I never went to that in photography art but a photo I have taken in the pharaohs village years ago, and I was wearing the pharaohs custom clothes there .. but it has no way to be compared to your both art. Very well done.
Thank you!
I'm glad you so appreciate what we tried to do....

Most viewers will miss the fact that the artwork is distorted... the lower swoop and circle is in fact an oval on the model's face. This was a very calculated move on my part. I wanted the end image to have no distortion, and to shoot round and more flat. In effect, more true to the source, which I consider you fortunate to have seen in real life.

So, yes. I'll do just about anything to make the viewer realllllly soak up the image and linger a little longer!
